Folder Snap is designed to help users capture photos and organize them into folders on their Android device. The app primarily works with files and settings stored locally on the device.
2. Information The App Accesses
Depending on the features you use, Folder Snap may access:
- Your device camera to capture photos.
- Your device media storage to read and save image files.
- Your microphone when required by the camera component or device mode.
- Notification permission if notification-related features are enabled.
- Locally stored app settings, including folder names and capture mode preferences.
3. How Information Is Used
Folder Snap uses accessed information only for app functionality, including:
- Capturing and saving photos.
- Organizing photos into user-created folders.
- Displaying saved images within the app.
- Remembering local app preferences and folder configuration.
4. Data Storage
Photos captured using Folder Snap are stored on your device storage. Folder names and app preferences are also stored locally on your device.
Based on the current implementation, Folder Snap does not upload your photos or folder names to your own remote backend as part of normal use.
5. Permissions
- Camera: used to take photos inside the app.
- Microphone: may be required by camera components on some devices or modes.
- Photos and media: used to read and save images in your chosen folders.
- Notifications: used if notification-related features are enabled.
- Network access: supports Firebase-related services and app connectivity.
6. Third-Party Services
The Android app is configured with Firebase services. Depending on your release setup, Firebase may process limited technical information such as diagnostics, app instance data, or messaging metadata under Google's policies.
If you enable additional Firebase or third-party features in future versions, this Privacy Policy should be updated to reflect those changes.
7. Data Sharing
Folder Snap does not sell your personal data. Your photos remain on your device unless you choose to share them using your device or other apps.
8. Children's Privacy
Folder Snap is not intentionally directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
